BENYOUNES work with Inclusive Creativity leader Frank Lyons, Professor at Ulster University and join Acoustronic - a recently-formed inclusive ensemble of disabled and non-disabled musicians based in Derry, Northern Ireland who use cutting edge-technologies in performances of improvised and notated music which crosses genre boundaries.

In 2016 the project was selected by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to expand its scope, including a new commission for the joint forces of Acoustronic and a conventional string ensemble Benyounes; a tour of public performances and workshops; international collaboration and sharing of best practice and a continued focus on innovative ways of inclusive music-making.

Performances include Walled City Music Festival - Derry, RichMix - London, Gulbenkian Foundation - Lisbon, University College - Dublin and most recently RNCM ChamberFest - Manchester where they group pushed the boundaries of performance even further with a remote live video link up.
