John Woolrich - A Book of Inventions
The 2nd of our recordings of John Woolrich's 'A Book of Inventions' is available from Saturday December 5th 8pm. Written for us, we first premiered Villanesca at the Barber Institute in 2018 with subsequent performances at Stapleford Granary, Bromsgrove Concerts and in Folkestone.
New Music Premiere
We have had the privilege of recording four brand new string quartets, from a series of new works composed by renowned British composer John Woolrich. The 1st, entitled Morendo, premiered on November 28th and you can enjoy it now via our youtube channel. These four works were recorded live at the Parish Church of St Mary & St Eanswythe, Folkestone.
We look forward to releasing the following three quartets over the next three Saturdays.
The full series of works, A Book of Inventions, will be performed in various locations over the coming year.
